Slimdemand Capsules
The FDA and Young You Corporation have notified healthcare professionals and consumers that the following four weight loss dietary supplements are being recalled: Slimbionic, One Weight Loss Pill, SlimDemand Capsules, and Botanical Weight Loss. These products are being recalled because they contain an undeclared drug ingredient, sibutramine, an FDA-approved drug used as an appetite suppressant for weight loss. These products pose a threat to consumers because sibutramine is known to substantially increase blood pressure and/or pulse rate in some patients and may present a significant risk for patients with a history of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, or stroke.
Patients who have these products in their possession should stop using them immediately.
