PVC Heat Stabilizer Systems
Introduction
The PVC heat stabilizer system can prevent or inhibit the removal of HCl and the discoloration caused by the removal of HCl during the resin processing.During the useful life of the product, it can maintain sufficient thermal stability and slow down the degradation caused by heat, light, and extend its service life.
Product function
1. Absorb HCl generated during PVC degradation;
2. Replace unstable allyl chlorine atoms or tertiary carbon chlorine atoms in PVC molecules to inhibit the removal of PVC and HCL;
3. React with free radicals to stop the transfer of free radicals;
4. Add reaction with conjugate double bond to reduce coloring;5. Inhibit the oxidation of PVC;6. Passivate metal ions with catalytic removal of HCl.
Classification of heat stabilizers
According to their roles, they can be divided into three categories:Main heat stabilizer (lead salt, metal soap, organotin, etc.)Auxiliary heat stabilizers (epoxides, phosphites, polyols, etc.)A compound stabilizer consisting of a primary and secondary stabilizer
