Crude benzene

Crude benzene

Description:

Crude benzol is produced during carbonisation of coking coal. Benzol, also called as benzole, is the name
normally applied in the chemical industry to a mixture of hydrocarbons of the benzene series. It is a complex
mixture of the volatile aromatic hydrocarbons which includes mainly benzene, toluene, and xylene and several
other minor constituent such as di-methyl benzene, tri-methyl benzene, ethyl toluene, and unsaturated
compounds (cyclopentadiene, styrene, and indene). Sulphur compounds (carbon bi-sulphide, and thiophene),
saturated hydrocarbons, phenol, and pyridine are also part of the composition of crude benzol

APPLICATIONS:
1. Used to extract benzene, toluene and xylene
2. Used in the solvent industry
3. Used in blend to prepare fuel oil
PERFORMANCE:
1. Improved chemical compatibility between carbonaceos aggregate (CPC) and the pitch
2. Produces highly durable and high performance anodes
3. Hassle-free operations in high-capacity electric arc furnaces.
