Introduction
Pvc resin sg5, physical appearance of white powder, non-toxic, odorless.Relative density is 1.35-1.46, refractive index is 1.544 (20℃), insoluble in water, gasoline, alcohol and vinyl chloride, soluble in acetone, dichloroethane, xylene and other solvents, high chemical stability, with good plasticity.In addition to a few organic solvents, room temperature can withstand any concentration of hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid under 90%, 50-60% nitric acid and 20% less caustic soda, in addition, is also quite stable for salts;PVC on the flame can burn and release hydrogen chloride (HCl), but left the flame is self-extinguishing, is a kind of “self-extinguishing”, “non-flammable” material;PVC starts to decompose above 100℃ and slowly releases HCl. As the temperature rises, the decomposition and release speed of HCl are accelerated, resulting in the discoloration of PVC.
